Keewaydin Camping Trip

Our good friends, Coulton and Lauren, invited us to go camping on an island just off the shore of Naples called Keewaydin. We said yes in a heartbeat! We're so glad we went because it was seriously the best time we've had in a long time. This little island is just sand and seagrass. If you're on one side of the island you can see the waves on the other side, it's not wide at all.

Between 4 couples and 3 kids, we had so much stuff for an overnight trip. It was quite funny actually, but we had to bring everything. We had our tents, sleeping bags, coolers full of food and water, chairs, tons of wood, and of course all of our beach stuff. It was freezing that night, so we had to bundle up...freezing meaning 50 degrees haha, that is cold for us.

This kid is so rad. We love our pal Lennon.

Tinfoil dinners

I had to call my dad (mountain man) because he is pro at camping. His tinfoil dinner ideas were a hit! For our tinfoil dinner we had chicken, veggies, and biscuits. For breakfast I had brought raw scrambled eggs in a ziploc, put the bag in hot water, and the eggs cooked beautifully.

I impressed myself.

Could you just die over her sleeping bag?! Haha she loved it and never slept better. She was so warm and cozy.

After breakfast, we went for a little walk.

The tide went down in the morning leaving our boat beached.

It warmed up a lot so we threw our swimsuits on. The water was cold though.

Thanks for such a great time! We hope to do it again.
