Congrats to Rob who got into the Information Systems program in the BYU business school. This program is top 10 in the nation!! ISYS is computer programming/software nerd stuff. I couldn't be more excited for him, he works so hard at getting good grades. Love you Rob!

We're Gettin The Boot...

Found out we have to move in a MONTH :( I'm not very happy about it because I HATE moving. We found out the bad news yesterday, but today we might have found a place just a block away, which is nice because we LOVE the area and ward. I'll keep ya posted if we will be homeless or not.

Scooter + Rain = NOT FUN!

Ask me if I scootered home from work in the pouring rain...keep in mind I work in North Orem (12 minute car drive).

YES I DID! Rob decided to switch me cars during work and at that time it was bright and sunny. Good thing I had snowboard goggles and ear muffs in the center console.

I was very cautious on the road as the pouring rain was stabbing me in the neck and face. I amazingly got home in only 17 minutes, but the results were nasty. I was drenched! Scrubs, bra, socks, shoes, hair...you name it!

I got a new job as a dental assistant.

Rob got a new job repairing rock chips with his amigos. I'm surprised on how well they are doing!! I love it. So if you need to repair a rock chip, let me know!!

Sooooprise Getaway for my Bert

Rob is so studious, I pray that my children get that trait from him and NOT me. Because he works so hard at getting straight A's, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to surprise him with a little getaway to VEGAS!!

I told him he needs to be available all weekend and to be in the car by 1230pm Friday. I secretly packed his bags and left him little clues of where we were going. (notice the bolded letters tee hee)

It was a fun QT (quick trip): we walked the strip (my legs still hurt), people watched (my favorite), sang hymns when we saw something inappropriate (most of the time), laid out by the pool (what I do best), shopped til we dropped (what I do best again), got some In-N-Out (drooled over it), relaxed (what Rob needed)...etc!

Ps I WANT ONE SOOOO BAD! I keep asking Rob if he'll ever surprise me with one...his response: (shaking head left to right). I tell him it's either a pup or a baby... Isn't he to die for?? He reminds me so much of Bear (may he R.I.P.)!!

Logan "Nut" & Papa in Town!

My Dad and youngest brother came to Utah for Memorial Day Weekend. Logan stayed with us, while my Dad was in the city of Logan at a Mountain Man Rendezvous. He met a real leprechaun while he was there!!

My Dad HAD to stop by Cabela's before they left. We ended up staying there for 2 hours!! I heard the average time spent there is 4 hours...loco. Rob and I got a little crazy with the camouflage.

Meet "Nut"! Our weekend was full of entertainment while he was here. We are trying to convince him to move in with us for the summer. Who can't resist our cabin-like basement full of huge spiders!! Ps I found one crawling up my bed the other night, I couldn't sleep.

Gospel Doctrine Teachers...YAHOO!

We were called to be Gospel Doctrine teachers today. I have been waiting for this day forever!...kidding :) Nah, I'm really excited because I lack in this area and can't wait to become better at it. Rob is already a pro at this kind of stuff, so he will be helping me A LOT! Fortunately our first time teaching was really easy, it was on The Plan of Salvation.

By working our booties off and doing well on our finals, we got to celebrate by going home for a few days. Rob's fam has the luxury of having this view in their backyard. Lucky dogs!

Sunbathing is my specialty. I've been waiting 6 months do it.

In Loving Memory of Bear Stapley

Today is a day we will never forget. Bear Stapley passed this morning. He had been sick for a couple days...he waited for my family to get home from church to finally let Heavenly Father take him to Doggie Heaven. He was considered a best friend by all of us. Bear had such a fun personality and loved everyone.

His best traits were chasing and catching birds/squirrels/chickens, rolling over, hand shaking, being obedient, keeping food on his nose until we said he could eat it, greeting us when we pulled in the driveway, being a friend, and many more.

Bear passed on a memorable day. He will be missed and in our hearts always. We know he is in a happy place now. We love you Bear! Happy Easter.
